Society is constantly developing, science is also improving, and as an important material of building materials – concrete, it is not only staying at the original level, with the diversity of requirements, many new types of concrete were produced to meet the different needs.
1. Recycled concrete
Recycled concrete is to use some waste concrete blocks on the construction site. After crushing, cleaning and other steps, the waste concrete is mixed with cement and water according to a certain proportion to produce the new concrete. The waste concrete even part or all to replace natural aggregates. All the common mixer plant sold from factory can mix this type concrete.
2. Pervious concrete
Pervious concrete is a kind of porous lightweight concrete made by mixing aggregate, cement and water. It has the advantages of air permeability, water permeability and light weight, and plays an important role in urban rainwater management and water pollution prevention.
3. Fair-faced concrete
Another name for exposed concrete is also called decorative concrete. The concept of green building is popular with people, and the fair-faced concrete is widely applied in many projects. .
4. Colored concrete
Colored concrete is widely used in outdoor decoration, scenic spot transformation and other public places. Colored concrete has been widely used in municipal walks, garden paths, city squares, high-end residential areas, parking lots, business office buildings, outdoor sports venues (badminton venues, basketball venues, etc.).
5. Ecological concrete
Ecological concrete can also be called “vegetation concrete”, “green concrete” and so on. It can not only adapt to the growth of green plants, but also has a certain protective function. As a small environmental protection expert in the concrete field, ecological concrete has extremely high water permeability, bearing capacity and good decorative effect, which protects the natural environment that human beings rely on for survival. At present, this new type of concrete is mainly suitable for slope management (including the slope management of rivers, lakes, reservoir DAMS and roads on both sides).
6. Foam concrete
Foamed concrete, also known as lightweight concrete, is widely used in energy-saving wall materials. The foam concrete in our country is more used in the roof foam concrete insulation layer cast-in-place, foam concrete surface block, foam concrete light wall panel, foam concrete compensation foundation.
7. Sound-absorbing concrete
Sound-absorbing concrete is a substance that can take sound insulation or sound absorption in response to noise generated outside. It has a continuous, porous internal structure. It is suitable for airports, expressways, both sides of high-speed railways, subways and other public places that are easy to produce noise.
8. Air purification concrete
Purified air concrete is a new product that uses an additive containing titanium dioxide to combine nitrogen oxide in the sun and convert it into harmless nitrate, which can not only absorb the exhaust gas emitted by cars, but most importantly, the nitrate emitted by this new concrete can be washed away in heavy rain, reducing pollution to a minimum or even no.
9. Polymer concrete
Polymer concrete is a kind of concrete with polymer as the only cementing material. It is suitable for waterproofing of underground buildings (structures), as well as waterproofing projects such as swimming pools, cement repositories and septic tanks.
10. Rice husk ash
When rice husks are burned, the silica in the husk ash can be combined with calcium oxide, which can not only resist the acidic environment but also be used as a concrete admixture. The high activity and hardening properties of rice husk ash can improve the workability and firmness of cement.
11. Steel fiber
Different from ordinary concrete, steel fiber concrete in the concrete cracking, across the cracks of the fiber can become the main recipient of external forces, so that the original brittle concrete material can show high ductility and toughness, with a series of superior physical and mechanical properties.
